21 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. Otherwise, the new piece will pull away from the old, making the tear worse. 22 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.” Mark 2:21-22

Wise Counsel Before You Step Into A New Season

 Appreciate the glory and learning you received in a prior season. 

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)

Be grateful for the people who contributed to you in your past season.

“ I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.” Ephesians 1:16; Philippians 1:3, 1 Corinthians 1:4, 1 Thessalonians 1:2

You don’t have to try to explain every mistake you made in the past to everyone, especially those who don’t support you now.

“Then the leading priests kept accusing him of many crimes,4 and Pilate asked him, “Aren’t you going to answer them? What about all these charges they are bringing against you?”5 But Jesus said nothing, much to Pilate’s surprise.” Mark 15:3-5 (NLT)

Ask God what and who can go with you into your new season.  Don’t pour new wine into old wineskins.

Don’t waste a moment, give your best at all times.

“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. 24 Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24
