“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord” Acts 3:19

• The one word that is the key to unlock your future… REPENTANCE

• Repentance is to a decision to turn from sin and embrace God’s blueprint for living

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you” Zechariah 1:3

Repentance brings us back into:

• Harmony with God

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you” Zechariah 1:3

• Harmony with others

• Harmony within yourself

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” Psalms 51:10-12

Steps of Repentance to Return back to the Future

1. Call it sin
2. Cry over sin
3. Convert behavior from sin

“Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.” Jonah 1:17

“Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the fish’s belly.” Jonah 2:1

“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent” Acts 17:30
